3.Explanation of Export Function inAvzScanner.dll:
3.1 AvzFindDevice
Prototype: ShortWINAPIAvzFindDevice(unsignedchar pSensorName[8][128])
Function: Search the Sensor reader
Parameter: pSensorName-the array for storing the sensor reader’s name
Notice: For instance sensor reader name:AvzScanner 1
Return value: Return 1 if successful, otherwise return 0
3.2 AvzOpenDevice
Prototype: intWINAPIAvzOpenDevice(unsigned short uDeviceID, HWND hWnd)
Function: Open the sensor reader
Parameter: uDeviceID-Sensor reader’s serial number
Hwnd -Preview the window handle of the fingerprint image
Return value: Return 0 if successful, otherwise return 1
3.3 AvzCloseDevice
Prototype: voidWINAPIAvzCloseDevice(unsigned short uDeviceID)
Function: Close the sensor reader
Parameter: uDeviceID-Sensor reader’s serial number
Return value: No return value
3.4 AvzGetCard
Prototype:voidWINAPIAvzGetCard(unsigned short uDeviceID, dword *lCardID)
Function: Get the Card Number
Parameter: uDeviceID -Sensor reader’s serial number
lCardID - Card Number
Return value: No return value
3.5 AvzGetImage
Prototype: voidWINAPIAvzGetImage(unsigned short uDeviceID, unsigned char *pImage,unsigned short bFingerOn)
Function: Capture the fingerprint image for the sensor reader and save the image into the pImage
Parameter: uDeviceID-Sensor reader’s serial number
pImage-Save the data of the fingerprint image ,
no smaller than280×280 bytes
bFingerOn-1:has finger on sensor;0:has no finger on sensor.
Return value: No return value
3.6 AvzSaveHueBMPFile
Prototype: voidWINAPIAvzSaveHueBMPFile(char *strFIleName, unsigned char *pImage)
Function: Save orginal image in memory to bmp file
Parameter: strFIleName-Fingerprint file name,
pImage- buffer zone for fingerprint image storage
Return value: No return value
3.7 AvzSaveClrBMPFile
Prototype: voidWINAPIAvzSaveClrBMPFile (char *strFIleName, unsigned char *pImage)
Function: Save feature image in memory to bmp file
Parameter: strFIleName-Fingerprint file name,
pImage- Buffer zone for fingerprint feature storage
Return value: No return value
3.8 AvzPackFeature
Prototype: shortWINAPIAvzPackFeature(unsigned char *pFeature1, unsigned char *pFeature2, unsigned char *pPackFeature)
Function: Encapsulate the fingerprint template
Parameter: pFeature1 -Fingerprint Feature 1,256 bytes ,
pFeature2 -Fingerprint Feature 2,256 bytes ,
pPackFeature–Anviz fingerprint feature template, supportsthe Anviz offline time attendance machine.
Return value: pPackFeature The storage of the fingerprint feature data
3.9 AvzUnpackFeature
Prototype: intWINAPIAvzUnpackFeature(unsigned char *pPackFeature, unsigned char *pFeature1, unsigned char *pFeature2)
Function: decompress the Anviz fingerprint template
Parameter: pPackFeature–Anviz fingerprint feature template, supportsthe Anviz offline time attendance machine.

pFeature2 -Fingerprint feature 2,256 bytes ,
Return value: Return 0 if successful, otherwise return nonzero
3.10 AvzProcess
Prototype: intWINAPIAvzProcess(unsigned char *pimagein,
unsigned char *feature,
unsigned char *pimagebin,
unsigned char bthin,
unsigned char bdrawfea,
unsigned short uRate = 110)
Function: Capture the fingerprint feature value from the input fingerprint image data.
Parameter: pimagein –Input fingerprint image datawith width 280,height 280, the data will be orderly arranged in rows, use 1 bytes for each picture element to indicate Hue
Feature –Generated Fingerprint feature value,256 non symbol bytes array
Pimagebin –generate double value image data ,width 280,height 280, the data will be orderly arranged in rows, use 0 and 255 to indicate each picture element
Bthin –1-pimagebin will generate the rectified image
0-pimagebin will generate the unrectified image
Bdrawfea –1-pimagebin will generate the information of the feature spot.
- pimagebin will not generate the information of the feature spot.
uRate - Take different values according to the camera model, (U-Bio =94)
Return value: Return 0 if successful, return 1 if failed, return 2 if system error
3.11 AvzMatch
Prototype: intWINAPIAvzMatch(unsigned char *feature1,
unsigned char *feature2,
unsigned short level = 5,

Function: Compare the value of two input Fingerprint features
Parameter: feature1 - Fingerprint feature 1,256bytes
Feature2 - Fingerprint feature 2,256bytes
level - Matching level(1-9)
rotate - Matchingrotational angle(1-180)
Return value: Return 0 if successful, return 1otherwise, return 2 if system error
3.11 AvzMatchN
Prototype: intWINAPIAvzMatchN(unsigned char *featurein,
unsigned char featurelib[][256],
unsigned long fingernum,
unsigned short level = 5,
unsigned short rotate = 60)
Function: Compare the input Fingerprint feature value with the feature value of the fingerprint library via 1:N identification method
Parameter: featurein - Need compare the feature value,256bytes
featurelib-Fingerprint feature value library array
fingernum - The fingerprint amount in the fingerprint library
level - Matching level(1-9)
rotate - Matchingrotational angle(1-180)
Return value: Return the fingerprint template’s serial number(>=0) if successful, return -1 if failed, return -2 if system error.
